I am a proven communications and marketing professional with experience in strategic communications planning, public and media relations, corporate branding and imaging, print and digital advertising and event marketing. I have strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, as well as interpersonal, written and oral communications skills. In the past few years I have demonstrated experiences in developing and implementing communications and marketing plans, programs and campaigns.
I am also a local business owner, here in Tonbridge, Kent. This puts me in a unique position compared to other social media consultants: I am in your shoes. I am also trying to make a small retail business work. I own Yarns of Anarchy, a wool retailer who also hosts classes and social groups. My goal is to get a shop in Tonbridge and make the high street more diverse are connect our community through learning new skills and socialising.
As a local business owner, I am part of the Tonbridge Town Team, which is a group of local business owners who have volunteered to work together to improve our community. My involvement with this group helps me to hear whats going on and how we can help support each other as small business owners.
